We work effectively with clients all across the U.S., and even internationally.

If you live in a small town and want local matches only, DateSpot is a great solution vs. traditional matchmaking companies too as you only pay for an intro.

DateSpot's pricing is extremely unique in the industry. Matchmakers charge a large sum upfront, which doesn't offer much flexibility and involves a lot of trust and risk in the investment. Our pricing allows you to give matchmaking a try without the risk.

A 45 minute video call consultation for $299 is the first step to becoming a client. At the end of the call we can discuss whether it's a good fit to work together in a dedicated capacity.

If we take you on as a client, we have at least 10 potentials who are already members identified as solid prospects to explore further. As an optional add-on, you are welcome to purchase an initial list of 10-15 members, called Match Previews. This list is great because a) you get a higher level of confidentiality since you see the people first, b) it allows us to get your feedback right away, c) you get more visibility into who we're considering for you, and d) it provides more options earlier in the process. Match Previews are $499 and about 75% of our clients choose to have them.

Introductions are $699 each. You are never automatically charged, and you only pay once we recommend someone and both people are interested in meeting. We believe this model is fair and there is great demand for our more flexible model compared to other matchmakers.

Yes, definitely! We have many LGBTQ+ members. We actually get a lot of referrals of people in the community from other matchmakers who do not service them due to a lack of appropriate candidates in their own networks.

Also, our partnerships with LGBTQ+ focused matchmaking companies allows us to match gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, and other individuals in a unique way - without paying the large amounts needed to work with them as a client. If you end up wanting more match options than what we deliver, we can refer you to a more specialized company that we recommend.

We also are conscious of non-binary gender options and don't force people to choose the traditional "male" or "female" options. This also makes matching through us easier than with traditional matchmaking companies.

If you want to be a Client, first we do a video deep-dive call. Within a few business days of that call we'll send your sharable profile, which you approve. We then begin outreach. We do multiple rounds of searches, starting with the top criteria and preferences first, and then expand from there. There is no set timeline as each person's search is so unique and the amount of actual appropriate options vary. But generally, we present an initial Recommended Date within one month.

Each month of the four month timeframe we have specific activities and we aim to check in at the end of each month to kick off the next round of searching.

If you want to be just a Candidate, there is no set timeframe. You will just wait to see if we identify you as a potential match for a Client in the future.

Yes, we do! If you're not ready for dedicated matchmaking, you're welcome to join our passive free pool of Candidates. That makes you eligible for the occasional match as we search for our Clients. There is no cost, ever.

However, know that it is rare that we contact Candidates due to the massive number of members, our focus on Clients, and how matchmakers and members alike typically want matches to have some "skin in the game" to demonstrate both financial fitness and some level of commitment.

We also want to make it clear that if you join the free route we generally do NOT proactively review your account to assess a fit as we're focused on our clients. We just contact you when there's a potential match, which may take months, years, or be never.

And while we aim for alignment of preferences as much as possible, it's an important distinction that we're more focused on the wants and needs of our clients. In a Client-to-Candidate pairing, our Client's preferences take precedence over yours. Everyone's search is a little aspirational, so you might be "the catch" more for them.

You're very kind! Yes, we absolutely do gift memberships for your friend, sibling or parent. You would pay for their consultation fee. If their is mutual interest in meeting, you can choose to either pay for each mutual match for them for as long as both of you desired, or have them take the cost from there. The pricing is the same - $299 fee for the video call and then $699 per approved match.
